On Sunday afternoon, as we were leaving Acadia NP, we stopped by Jordan Pond House, a rooty-toot old establishment known far and wide for its pop-overs. In general, it has a magnificent physical setting and flawless food offerings. Clara had the lobster stew while I had crab cakes and a salad – none ever better (except perhaps for the crab cakes at our house . . . ) The overall setting makes for picture postcard presentation.
