On Saturday, before the big birthday bash, the four of us drove around the Acadia Loop Drive, taking in what it was all about. Here are some views of the park, including someone's vacation home, a lobster boat just offshore, a generic picture postcard view and the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse.
